Restaurant Amfiteatar in Pula: mediterranean and istrian food with modern twist

Restoran Amfiteatar opened his door in 2011. Since then it become well known place which serves mediterranean and istrian food.

Head chef Deniz Zembo since the first day wanted to combine local food and new wave gastronomy. He menage to fit experience from London and all over the world into local surroundings.

From Istria to the world

He gave many local dishes a modern twist, so in Amfiteatar you can try it both. Restaurant brings traditional local dishes, typical mediterranean food with a little breath of street food in the shape of gourmet burgers.

Casual restaurant

Amfiteatar is casual restaurant which offers mediterranean and istrian food with affordable prices. Restaurant servs various meals every day, so you can choose between any types of meat, pasta or fish. Prices are very affordable, only fish delicacies breaks the 15 euros barrier.

It has a great atmosphere with big terrace and view on roman Amphitheatar and sea. Parking is available for the restaurant guests.

Special vegan menu

The restaurant was one of the first in Istria that gives special attention to the vegan dishes. It has a menu consisting of “vegan meat”, risotto, dumplings, polenta, vegan burger….Visitors can also request gluten-free.
