Gastro fanatic behind the story

Deniz Zembo is one of the most recognized and rewarded chef in Croatia. He is cooking lover with experience over 30 years in gastronomy. Turning point was stay in London, where he opened and managed own restaurant for years. After that experience he brought the molecular gastronomy first in Croatia with famous restaurant “Le Mandrac” in Volosko.

Nowdays, he runs the Hotel Amfiteatar and it’s hospitality concepts like Restaurant Amfiteatar, Zembie’s street food, Vegan House and Istria Cooking.

Restaurant Amfiteatar has a casual concept which offers best mediterranean and istrian food with affordable prices.

The food offer consist from a different type of dishes like rump steak, meat plate, fish, octopus, pasta, risotto, burgers…What is interesting it’s one of only a few places which includes gluten free options in Pula and Istria in general.

Vegan House is first specialized vegan restaurant in Pula and Istria.

It offers various types of meals such us “vegan meat”, risotto, dumplings or maybe you can choose local dish polenta.
